    Today is the 38th anniversary of the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, a Great Lakes Freighter carrying taconite iron ore, on November 10th, 1975.  The November storms of Lake Superior took her and a crew of 29 down just 17-miles from Whitefish Bay near Sault Ste.     It has become tradition to say a toast on this anniversary of grandfathers passing.  Over an Alaskan Amber, which I think he would have enjoyed, we raised our glasses, and said a toast.

  • Moment of silence…

    It has been 21 years since my grandfather passed away, physically from the earth, and 21 years since he became a conciousness in heaven, pushing me, and guiding me through this life. That spirit beyond the shore, across ths sea, is familiar and ever present.
