Today is the 38th anniversary of the sinking of the SS Edmund Fitzgerald, a Great Lakes Freighter carrying taconite iron ore, on November 10th, 1975.  The November storms of Lake Superior took her and a crew of 29 down just 17-miles from Whitefish Bay near Sault Ste.
