This is part 1 of an essay I am writing.
How to find a sense of Zen and peace or moments of tranquility in the corporate-driven world? In this hectic, fast-paced, grab what you can, my time is better than yours world, what can we do with the time given to find a moment to breath? In layman’s terms that I understand – I am just a regular person working my way through this reality, I will talk about my struggle to balance what lies within and the outer chaotic environment constantly reaching for my energy and life.
Rising before the sun. Rising before the birds. Rising, it seems, before that thing beyond me, has had a cup of coffee. Though in my sleep deprived state, I am aware that I am not alone as I venture out each morning before 4:00am into the cold clear skies. Somehow I complete the journey safely and I choose to not question the process entirely.
