Recently I became hooked on the TNT original series Falling Skies.  It is about an alien invasion of earth, and how people figure out how to work together to fight back. Perhaps not the most original plot at first glance, but the acting makes this thing work. I have not seen the lead actor, Noah Wyle, in anything outside of an episode or two of ER. He portrays an amazing array of emotions through his facial expressions, hand gestures, and body language that make it quite easy to become empathic. Really, overall the plot is convincing and the acting is great.  I just started season 2 and season 4 is the most recent.  I have some ideas for an essay or poem and that may make there way here sometime soon.
