While I am not that educated when it comes to art, and in particular painting, I am fascinated with Jackson Pollock.  We were going to feature him in an issue of Stone Pack Review, but that has changed.  Instead, I will post some photos and text here.

Like many people, I was first exposed to Jackson Pollock, his life, and his work in the movie starring Ed Harris and Marcia Gay Haden that was released in 2000.

The style in which he painted is just part of the appeal of this great artist. I became enamored with the patterns that persisted and permeated each piece. Some of the paintings were layered in subtle ways that presented a new meaning or image with each viewing. You being to feel the years of work, and how these mired his life and events, and his personality and demons bleed onto the canvas.
