In another life I scaled the peak.
I tasted the salt and blood
of success and defeat.
I stood and watched clouds
rise and fall.
Moons passed and kingdoms
fell before the mountain swallowed
me whole.
In another life I scaled the peak.
I tasted the salt and blood
of success and defeat.
I stood and watched clouds
rise and fall.
Moons passed and kingdoms
fell before the mountain swallowed
me whole.

Untraversed life is always enchanting. Imaginative indeed.
That is true, seems great and romantic from a distance.
It is!
Great poem. xxx
Thank you Willow! More along within the same vein is in the works and should be posted in the next couple of days.
